What a way to go! One of our few Hemlocks and it is uprooted by the ice and snow weighing heavy on it. Now I am pretty sure that I mentioned something about effecting power in one of the previous pictures, well this Hemlock took out our service lines from the pole to the house. We were without power for approximately 38 hours. But we perservered by having big fires in the fireplace and camping out in the living room and all of us lived through the ordeal. The tree also took out our phone line and damaged the Cable TV line.
