We arrived in Ferndale and at first, had no idea of what to expect. But we soon discovered that the entire town of Ferndale is on the National Register of Historic Places and there is good reason for it. Almost every house is a Victorian of some type with many of them restored beautifully! But this picture has nothing to do with Victorian Houses, but what you see is the Pacific Ocean and the coast line of California on Cape Mendocino. Spectacular is one word for it. This particular area is called the lost coast. I will try to keep my descriptions short and brief so you can gander at some of these incredible pictures!!!!
