Upstairs Hallway
The upstairs hallway is an abomination. This area has been completely gutted with wiring redone for the upstairs. The walls were painted paneling, the ceiling, a tile (like the rest of the house). But I have ripped out the paneling, the closet (near the master bedroom door), the ceiling and have redone everything. Now to spackle and paint. In the right hand picture, Steve is contemplating the "wall" in it's barest form. like in the library, I found some interesting stud work that needs some attention. And the view into my future office is absolutely stunning. We have replaced the light fixture that you see in the second photo with wall sconces and have installed the overhead fixture into our bedroom for a more elegant look. You also see Steve in his work attire - right down to the sandals!
